The white house

I have a new blog crush. It's called Room & Serve and it's Swedish and it has lots and lots of Scandinavian interior pics. Lovey love love.

Happy Easter!

Hello and a very happy Easter to you. I thought this was a good excuse as any to post some favourite outfits from Fifi Lapin, the cutest bunny of all.
I have a few days off work to relax and do a bit of nothing and so far all I've done is eat my own weight in chocolate eggs (Yum). It's back to work tomorrow though so I'd better go for a run or I might not fit behind my desk.

Colourful Tuesday: Citrus with blues

Do you know how much I like this colour scheme? I like it a lot! Modern vases from Dahlhouse.
Via The Diversion Project.

Photographer focus: Sarah Hermans

I love Sarah Hermans' girls series. They look so calm, comfortable and lovely.

Colourful Tuesday: Judge a book by it's cover

Uppercase will be soon releasing Dottie Angel, the 2nd book in the suitcase series. You can read the bio here. Since the cover was so cute I picked some pics to go with it from Dottie Angel's Flickr photostream. Don't forget to check out her cute blog and shop too.

P.S. sorry for the lateness. Been super-busy again.

Happy Passover :)

Passover is my favourite Jewish holiday and chewy coconut macaroons are my favourite Passover cookie. I found this recipe via Night Baking and it looks easy enough that I might just try to make some.

Update: I tried the recipe and it DIDN'T work. The macaroons fell apart after baking :(
I think the wet/dry ingredients ratio is all wrong.

Friday Etsy finds: Porcelain & blue hues

Just some random objects I'm liking today.
From top left:
- Shelf city no. 246 from The Oak Leaves
- The four season cup set from Bailey doesn't bark
- Black bear stack from Lulu Froot
- Porcelain twigs from Roberta Polfus
- Mini creamers from Pigeon Toe Ceramics
- Cross-stitched floor cushion from Trampoline

Clouds made from dough

Nikole over at Forty Six at Grace got me mesmerised by these adorable edible clouds. Love your work Nikole :)

Label focus : Brixton

American label Brixton make classic and timeless pieces (with lots of stripes) for men and women. Found via {wit + delight}.

Stripe frenzy

I want to be an American. Or at least have an American shipping address. Or have a friend with an American shipping address. Or go on a trip to America and buy lots and lots of things with stripes from J. Crew.

Colourful Tuesday: A Swede in Melbourne

Charlotte Swiden is a Swedish illustrator and homeware designer now living in Melbourne. The home she share with partner Clem Stamation is just as colourful as her gorgeous products. Check out her shop here.

Simple and timeless

This is just what my wardrobe is missing right now: a long skirt, a big cable sweater, a short trench, a long knitted dress, anything in grey marle.
All pics from Zara's Fall 2010 campaign. Via Fashionising.
