Daria at home

I have a bit of a thing for Canadian model Daria Werbowy. She always looks natural and relaxed which is certainly evident in these gorgeous photos for Dossier, taken at her New York loft by Photographer Cass Bird. I know these are not new but I just wanted them for my blog.

I love this photo from Vogue Portugal (September 2011 edition) with it's soft dusky tones and fluffy accessories.

Photographer focus: Lachlan Bailey

These are some examples of the beautiful work by Australian born, New York based photographer Lachlan Bailey. There are plenty more inspiring images to look at on the website and I'm sure we'll be seeing lots more of his work in the future.

Another Swedish apartment

This lovely apartment in Malmö Sweden is actually for sale. Or I think it is anyway. My Swedish is less than basic so I may have gotten the wrong idea. In any case it's a beautiful, fresh and very liveable looking apartment which I would have been proud to call my home.

Urban Outfitters catalogue

Have you seen the Urban Outfitters September 2011 catalogue? It looks very outdoorsy, almost like an old hiking magazine. There are mountains and snow and even a kayak. I like it.

Zara lookbook September 2011

I went to Zara last week and despite some very decent efforts I didn't buy anything. Nothing. At all. Very disappointing indeed. If only this cable jumper and the military coat were there...

Paula Goldstein for Grazia

I love the girl 'next door series' by Vanessa Jackman for Grazia magazine and these pics of Paula Goldstein are just beautiful. You can see the rest of the pics here.

Illustrator focus: Martine Johanna

Dutch artist Martine Johanna was a fashion designer before turning her full attention back to her love of painting in 2008. Lucky for us I think.

Raf Simons' modern home

I'm not usually one for modern homes but the spacious home of Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons managed to grab my attention. Maybe its the amazing furniture or maybe its the painting of the girl near the staircase. In any case I just like it and that's that.

Midi me

Firstly I apologise for not blogging much this week. It's been a bit hectic and I have hardly been home. I'll try to make up for it on the weekend.
Now back to the subject on hand, midi dresses. I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and came across these lovely midis on Asos. The bird dress is my favorite but is it too casual to wear to a wedding?
Also, I love those tan boots but have yet to find which style they are.
